Hey guys, This is Janice. I am the Author of this blog. Let me Introduce myself.
I am Janice. I was born on February 2, 1973 in Bilbao. I studied Physics at the UPV / EHU and in the third year I already thought that I wanted to do the thesis with my professor of Quantum Physics.
So for four years I was researching the nonlinear optical properties of ferroelectric liquid crystals. At the end of the year 2000, celebrating my degree as a doctor in a rural house in Guipúzcoa, I learned that physicians could work in hospitals.
So I, who had always imagined myself as a teacher, started to review almost all the subjects of the degree to prepare for the RFIR exam and in the summer of 2001 I joined as a resident at the Hospital Clinico Universitario de Valladolid.
As soon as I finished I started working very close to my house, at the Hospital Universitario de Basurto, where I have been for almost ten years.
Also on the way I got married and had four boys, well, three girls and a boy. Now that no one is a baby anymore, they all do sports in the afternoons, they sleep almost jerkily and they play a lot with each other, I have encouraged myself to do different things.
Running upstream, downstream, swimming long back and forth, learning to take photos and embarking on Breakfast with photons have become new challenges and illusions of my newly released quarantine.
